Aside from my notecards and regifting jars, I believe I've finally found my niche! I loved painting these paper bags and adding the embellishments aaaaaaaand this is just the beginning. I have numerous ideas for embellishing and creating different themes. Being that this is my initial batch, I might think these look good, but down the road, I will probably look back and think, "Really? What was I thinking?" But I'm not there yet, so just sharing my enthusiasm with you.

Just your basic brown paper bag with handles.

All painted up, but it needs a little flash to make it stand out more.

Had these little wooden beads for a long time and they could use some fancyin' up, too.

Nothing like a few polka dots...

Found some old, gold sparkly ribbon I saved from a Christmas gift and used it to tie the beads onto the bag.

Shabby Chic anybody? Here's the completed bag with bling and a piece of fabric that I stuck on, too, for good measure. Good measure? Did I really write that? I am not even sure that I know what that means. 😶

I couldn't just stop here, though. I got hooked immediately. So here are more below. Oh, and the flash added to these are just paper bead tubes that I make and paint and add onto many of my pieces. The rest are just rando (not a typo) beads from my collection.

Once the bags were completed, I realized they needed tags. So, I created a design, duplicated it onto one page, printed it out, and then cut them to the appropriate size. I also added twine to tie them to the bag.

I am going to put the tags inside the bags rather than tie them on.

So excited! I ordered some cellophane bags (better for the environment!) and here they are, looking so professional, all tucked into them. I specifically purchased smaller bags so that when I had to fit the handles in, I did it so that they would form a loopy heart. 😉

But there was still something missing. To make them fully professional-looking, I designed a package label and printed them out on sticky-backed sheets. Easy to cut out and stick on.

Here's a close-up for you. 😍
